Pullin Scholarship

Dennis W. Pullin created the Rosie L. Pullin Scholarship Fund in memory of his mother, Rosie L. Pullin.  She was a devout Christian woman who felt the greatest blessing in life was to be a blessing to someone else.

As a young child, Dennis felt that his everyday life with his mother was an education for himself.  In spite of his mother’s own limited education, she created an environment for future success by encouraging him to think big and to learn to dream.  She instilled in him what he believes to this day to be “Values Beyond Measure.”  “I can still hear her steadfast voice telling me to work to be greater than today.”  Dennis’ interpretation… “You don’t accomplish extraordinary in an ordinary day!”

Many have shared that the depth of Rosie’s compassion was felt everywhere she went and in everything she did. In San Antonio, Texas, she was a pillar in her community, holding many leadership roles within her church and beyond.  Because of her unwavering guidance and wisdom, others would solicit her advice on both personal and professional development.  With a selfless determination and focus to better the world, Rosie led by example, and wanted her words and her life to serve as guidance to all.

Our mission with the Rosie L. Pullin Scholarship Fund is to continue her legacy of “Leadership and Education” by supporting our young college students in their academic pursuits, thereby providing a much better chance of securing a positive future for themselves, for their own families, and ultimately for the whole community.

With your help, we will be able to continue Rosie’s charge of making the world a better place - one student at a time.

All donations are appreciated and welcome.  The Rosie L. Pullin Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit organization. Please make your check payable to:
